Technically it's 12:22am on September 15th which means that yes, it is my birthday! I'm not one of those women who run and hide under the table when it is my birthday or who hide their age (yet!). I am proud to say that I am 33 years young today. To be honest with you, I never really thought I would ever live to see age 30. I'm not sure why I felt that way, I just did, but then again I think alot of people think that way at one time or another for whatever reason. This birthday is a little hard for me however, next year's will be alot harder I think, only because it makes me think of my mom. My mother died when I was just 14 years old. She was just 34 years old. I think of the way I feel right now and try to put myself in a position of knowing that I would only have a short time left here and it is impossible for me to even fathom that. I miss her so much and I pray she is proud of the woman I have become. Anyway, enough of the depressing stuff..it's a happy day!
I'm not sure what I am going to do for my birthday. Honestly, all I want is a day to do whatever I would like, relax, no cleaning, just have me time. That would be the perfect birthday for me. Let's see if I get it *wink*
Anyway, my birthday wish this year *yes, I'm gonna tell you all!* is that I wish for my children to lead a healthy happy life. Our family to prosper in all things God has to offer & for this time next year me to be at least another 60 pounds lighter. Ok ok! That was more than one wish but I'm 33 so I should get more than one..right? lol
Ok on closing, here is a picture of my birthday pressie from my husband! He gave it to me this evening. I am totally inlove with it! It's a sterling silver sideways cross. I've been wanting one of these for months! Thank you baby!
